At last, we have made time to get in a game of golf! This morning was perfect, no wind, and the forecast was for a mild sunny day.
So here we are on the lovely Margaret River Golf Course.
We had to share the fairways with the local kangaroos.
And the clubhouse looks inviting for a drink after our next game.
Not a bad round seeing we haven’t’ played for a long time.
Thanks to the golf pro John – you helped to make our day very enjoyable.
My Dad was a very good golfer, but I could never rustle up any interest. He passed his skills onto my son. It looks like a good reason to be outdoors.
The lovely golf course has not improved my golf very much….but it is certainly a lovely walk.
What a glorious weather! We can assure you that there is no possibility of playing golf in most of Europe until our dreadful weather improves. Now, the serious surfers are quite happy with waves up to 10 metres high. A bit dangerous, though…
Love the kangaroos and wallabies. They are so cute! Miss them…
Many of the Australian golf courses are a haven for kangaroos…plenty of grass and water over the summer months.
What a difference to the Jurien golf course! Green is such a great colour!!
Yes it is quite refreshing….Jurien golf course is a great winter course.
It’s a fantastic course my Mum & Dad played there every year for the Sept-Oct long weekend competition they were visitors from Mt Lawley Golf Club. My Mum has a Memorial visitors trophy on the club room wall there it holds lots of memories. Xx
Will look for the Memorial trophy of your Mum’s when we visit the clubhouse Jill.
